Business Investment Accounts
Is your business sitting on more cash than you need for operations? It may be time to consider a business investment account. It operates just like a personal investment account, except it takes into consideration the liquidity needs and time horizon of the investment for your business.
Financial Wellness
Many companies are recognizing that, in addition to physical and mental wellness, they need to be mindful of the financial wellness of their employees. A 2013 article published in Clinical Psychology Review, written by researchers at University of South Hampton in the UK, examined 65 studies and papers from different countries on the relationship between unsecured personal debt and mental health (1). In their review of these reports they found strong correlations between poor personal finances, debt, and issues with substance dependence and abuse, depression, stress, and overall poor physical health. Employers don’t want their employees to experience these things at home or at work. They want happy healthy employees.
Start a financial wellness program for your employees and have a happy and financially strong workforce. Contact Respire by emailing, calling or booking a 15 minute consultation to discuss how many sessions and how many topics you’d like to cover. Some companies provide this benefit to their employees once a year, quarterly, or some do a monthly series for three months in a row to cover multiple topics which build on each other. These topics include but are not limited to personal finance basics, budgeting, savings, debt management, retirement, and evaluating investments.
Does your organization need a financial education program?
Whether it’s an hour, a multi-part series, or a half day training camp, Respire has you covered. Empower your members, students, residents, or associates with financial strength. Respire Wealth Management, LLC has a mission to bring good quality financial education to people who need it the most, and that includes people who aren’t ready to invest. There’s an hourly rate for presentations made to organizations with business status. Eight hours per month will be allocated toward free presentations and meeting sessions for organizations with legal non-profit status.
Call, email or book online to discuss your needs. Whether you have a group of people getting back on their feet who need information on basics like checking and savings accounts and establishing credit responsibly, or a room full of college students about to graduate and launch careers, the content can be customized.
The consultation process involves capturing information regarding socioeconomic background, income levels, education levels, ages, professions, and other important information to ensure the program is sensitive to the group and engaging.
